Jacob Cohën set out to make jeans a luxury garment, and Damiani Miami carries them today. The Bardelle family founded the brand in Italy in 1985, and Nicola Bardelle relaunched it in 2002 with a simple idea: jeans comfortable enough for every day and refined enough for the most formal occasions.
He used fine fabrics such as Japanese Kurabo denim, tailored constructions for a clean fit, and finishing touches like jewelled buttons, hand embroidery and the pony-hair label on the back. Jacob Cohën jeans are made entirely in Italy.
