Made in Bologna Since 1962
Fray has made luxury shirts in Bologna since 1962, and Damiani Miami carries them. Lucia Pasin opened the first atelier that year on Via Borgonuovo, one of the loveliest streets in the historic heart of Bologna.
With the business sense of her husband, Giorgio Randi, the family company grew. Fray shirts began selling abroad in 1971, and in 1983 production moved to a larger, modern factory in Casalecchio di Reno, just outside Bologna, where it remains today.
Fray's signature is the stitch. Ultra-fine needles allow up to 10 stitches per centimeter, and details like monograms are embroidered by hand. Every shirt is 100% made in Italy.
