From Hollywood to Florence
Ferragamo is one of Italy's most famous names in shoes, and Damiani Miami carries it. Salvatore Ferragamo made shoes for Hollywood's film stars in the 1920s before returning to Italy and founding his company in Florence in 1927.
He combined traditional handcraft with his own inventions and study of the foot, and in 1938 he bought Palazzo Spini Feroni in Florence, still the home of the house today.
