A Shirt Workshop Since 1965
Barba Napoli began as a small artisan shirt workshop, and Damiani Miami carries its shirts. Antonio Barba opened it in 1965 on the outskirts of Naples, and by 1988 the name was known across Italy for its skill in cutting and its attention to detail.
In 2001 the company moved into a 6,000 square meter home in Arzano, just north of Naples, and Antonio's sons, Mario and Raffaele, took over. Barba has since opened a showroom in Milan, a store in Rome and a boutique on London's Jermyn Street.
Many steps are still done by hand: the armholes, the collar, the cuffs, the buttons and the buttonholes.
