Eton has spent nearly a century perfecting one garment, and Damiani Miami carries its dress and sport shirts. It began in 1928 in a small workshop in Gånghester, near Borås, Sweden's textile region, and by 1946 the business had decided to make only shirts.
In 1948 the founders' sons came back from a trip to England with a name, and in 1950 the company became Eton. Its guiding line still comes from co-founder Annie Pettersson: never hand over a shirt until you are completely satisfied with it.
